Cancellation and Refunds

Last updated: 31 August 2026

This policy forms part of the Terms of Use. Defined terms have the meanings given in section 1 of those Terms.

1. Subscription Term

A Subscription runs for twelve months from its start date at US$12,000 excluding VAT, payable annually in advance.

Except as set out in section 2, a Subscription may not be cancelled during the Subscription Term.

2. Cancellation within sixty days

You may cancel a Subscription within sixty days of its start date and receive a refund of the fees paid, less the payment processing charges incurred on the original transaction.

Payment processing charges are not returned to us when a refund is issued, and the amount deducted will be the amount actually charged by the processor. That amount will be itemised in the refund confirmation. Where a Subscription was paid by bank transfer or against an invoice, no processing charges arise and the full amount is refunded.

The sixty-day period runs from the start date of the Subscription and not from the date of last access to the Portal.

On the issue of a refund, access to the Portal ends and the licence granted in section 7 of the Terms of Use ends with it. Radar content downloaded before cancellation is no longer licensed for use.

3. Renewal

A Subscription does not renew automatically, and no payment will be taken that you have not agreed to in advance.

Approximately thirty days before the end of a Subscription Term, we will contact you to ask whether you wish to continue. Where you do, an invoice will be issued for the next Subscription Term. Where you do not, or where you do not reply, the Subscription ends on its end date and nothing further is required from you.

There is no notice period, and no action is required from you to prevent a renewal charge.

4. Effect of a Subscription ending

Access to the Portal ends on the last day of the Subscription Term, together with access to new Briefing Items, priority alerts and horizon reports.

Radar content received during the Subscription Term may continue to be used within the subscribing organisation on the licence terms that applied during that Term. Governance Artefacts already adapted into your own internal documents may continue to be used.

5. Cancellation by us

Where the Radar is discontinued, or where a Subscription is suspended for any reason other than your breach of the Terms of Use, the unused portion of the Subscription Term will be refunded on a pro rata basis.

6. Who may subscribe

The Radar is sold to organisations and not to individual consumers. Purchase orders, invoicing and procurement review of these documents are available on request.

7. How to cancel, request a refund, or discuss renewal

Send a request to [email protected] from an email address associated with the Subscription, or reply to any message sent from that address. No form is required and no reason need be given.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on your bank, a refund typically appears within five to ten working days of being issued.
