A small, private group of senior security and risk leaders
The Stratsec Circle is a peer network for CSOs, CROs, CISOs, general counsels and board members who carry responsibility for security and risk where emerging technology creates material exposure. Membership is by nomination or invitation.
It is not an industry association, and nobody sells anything inside it. There is no sponsor track and no vendor in the room. The Circle stays deliberately small, because a peer group stops being useful the moment it stops being a group of peers.
Why the Circle exists
A CISO working out whether a new AI deployment creates an espionage exposure has plenty of people to ask about known cyber risk. Rather fewer about that one. The board understands financial and operational risk, and the auditors understand controls. The vendors have a product to sell. The person who has already had to answer the same question, in a comparable organisation and under the same regulator, is usually somewhere else entirely.
The Circle is where you find that person. Discussion runs under the Chatham House Rule, which means you can use what you hear and you cannot say who said it.
What members get
Roundtables
Priority invitation to Stratsec Roundtables, which are half-day facilitated discussions held under the same rule, on a question several members are dealing with at once.
A private peer channel
A closed channel for consultation between members. When you want a second opinion on an emerging exposure before a board meeting, this is somewhere to ask people who have been there.
The analysts in the room
Stratsec analysts and reviewers take part in the roundtables and the channel. You can put a question to the person who approved the briefing item that prompted it.
How to join
The Circle is drawn from Stratsec Radar subscribers, and membership comes by nomination or invitation. There is no application form. We keep it small enough that members recognise each other, which matters more here than growth does.
